Our client manufactures, supplies and converts containers for a variety of applications, and they have a vacancy available for a Storeman in the Cape Town area. 

Position Description:
Controls the Stores at the Cape Town Depot.

Major Areas of Responsibility:
1. General housekeeping of the Depot Stores
2. Issuing/receiving of tools and general consumables
3. Maintaining and controlling tool Inventories
4. Controlling MHC (Mobile Harbour Crane) Spares Inventory
5. Maintain effective stock control at all times
6. Maintaining reasonable consumable stock levels
7. Assisting the Safety Rep with Tool Inspection Reports as per safety file requirements
8. Assisting with monthly stock counts on container movements
9. Assisting workshop staff when required
